2nd Ensemble XXI Stage in Coma-ruga (Tarragona)

Los pasados días 27, 28 y 29 de abril de 2007 realizamos nuestro 2º Encuentro Ensemble XXI en Coma-ruga (Tarragona)
Last days 27, 28 and 29th of April 2007 we made our 2nd Ensemble XXI Stage in Coma-Ruga (Tarragona) (Spain)

 Trabajamos especialmente tres nuevas obras que van a formar parte de nuestro próximo Cd «Secretos de Papel» que vamos a grabar en 2008 con el maestro Juan Pérez de Albéniz, prestigioso cellista miembro de la Amsterdam Sinfonietta.
También realizó una interesante introducción a la Técnica Alexander.
We worked specially three new scores of mine, that will be including in our next 2008 Cd «Secrets of Paper», with the teacher Juan Perez de Albéniz,prestigious cello player of the Amsterdam Sinfonietta.
Also it made an interesting introduction to the Technique Alexander.

 Tuvimos la agradable sorpresa de la visita de Ane Matxain, violin.
Actual Concertino de la Orquesta Nacional de España, muy amablemente se integró en nuestra orquesta.
Fue un momento muy especial.
We had the pleasant surprise of the visit of Ane Matxain, violin.
Present Concertino of the National Orchestra of Spain, very amiably She integrated in our orchestra.
It was a very special moment.

 Juan trabajó con profundidad e intensidad, y aportó ideas muy interesantes para mejorar nuestra manera de entender la música. Lo hizo con su habitual simpatía. Es una persona cálida y cercana.
Juan worked with depth and intensity, and contributed very interesting ideas to improve our way to understand music. He did it with his habitual affection.He is a very warm and near person.

Concierto de Ensemble XXI en Fuenlabrada (Madrid). Ensemble XXI Concert in Fuenlabrada (Madrid).

El pasado 18 de abril, realizamos un concierto con nuestra orquesta, Ensemble XXI, en el Centro Cultural “Tomás y Valiente» de Fuenlabrada (Madrid).
Inaugurado en 2005, el Centro “Tomás y Valiente” es uno de los complejos culturales más importantes de la Comunidad de Madrid.
El Concierto fue muy bien y el Auditorio, con capacidad para 800 personas, nos obsequió con muchos aplausos y con una cálida acogida.

The past 18th April, we played a concert with our orchestra, Ensemble XXI, in the «Centro Cultural Tomás y Valiente» of Fuenlabrada (Madrid).
Inaugurated in 2005, the «Centro Cultural» is one of the most important cultural complexes of the Madrid Community.
The Concert was very well and the Concert Hall, with capacity for 800 people, flattered us with many applause and a warm welcome.

Guitarra.Artelinkado es, sin duda, una de las páginas más importantes y visitadas del mundo sobre la guitarra en habla hispana.
Es una fuente de recursos impresionante e inagotable: descargas de partituras,artículos, foros especializados, información sobre libros, discos, cursos, conciertos, concursos…etc
En ella puedes encontrar todo lo que un amante de la guitarra pueda necesitar.
Todo este trabajo se lo debemos, principalmente a su fundador Oscar López, a quien tuvimos la suerte de tener como Invitado de Honor en el Concierto de Presentación de nuestro Cd «Retratos del Mar», y a todos sus miembros y colaboradores que, de una manera desinteresada intercambian información y conocimientos con todos los que disfrutamos de este homenaje a la guitarra en las diferentes secciones de esta web.
Oscar me pidió un artículo en el que se plamara todo el proceso de creación y evolución de nuestra orquesta Ensemble XXI y como nació mi editorial GuitarInEnsemble.com, narrado en primera persona.
Ha sido un reto y un honor para mi, poder colaborar en su web con la publicación de este relato y desde aquí quiero agradecer, en mi nombre y en el de nuestra joven orquesta, la gran oportunidad que nos ha brindado de dar a conocer nuestro proyecto.

Oscar requested an article to me about all the process of creation and evolution of Ensemble XXI and how it were born the idea of my publisher company GuitarInEnsemble.com, narrated by myself.
It has been a challenge and an honor for my, to be able to collaborate in his Web with the publication of this story and from here I want to thank him the great opportunity that has offered to present our project.

Yaiza Mata

El día 4 de marzo de 2007, será un día que no olvidará nuestra flautista de Ensemble XXI, Yaiza Mata.
Con sólo quince años, debutó en una de las Salas de Concierto más importantes de España, la Sala Mozart del Auditorio de Zaragoza.
Todo fue como un sueño, realizó un dúo de Mozart con Jaime Martín, que acababa de realizar una magistral interpretación del Concierto para flauta de Marcolm Arnold con la Orquesta de Cadaqués dirigida por una leyenda de la música clásica: Sir Nevill Marriner.
Fue muy emocionante y un éxito rotundo.
Todos los profesores que han trabajado con nosotros, han coincidido en que Yaiza tiene un gran talento, una natural musicalidad.
Para Yaiza fue como haber alcanzado la cumbre, nosotros estamos seguros que sólo representa un primer paso, un primer escalón, y que su vida musical estará llena de momentos emocionantes y preciosos, tan bellos como el sonido que sabe extraer de su flauta.
¡Enhorabuena Yaiza!

4th March 2007, will be a day that will not forget our Ensemble XXI flute player, Yaiza Mata.
With only fifteen years, She made debut in one of the more important Concert halls of Spain, Sala Mozart of the Auditorium of Zaragoza.
Everything was as a dream, played a Mozart duo with Jaime Martin, who had played like a soloist a masterly interpretation of the Flute Concert of Marcolm Arnold with the Orquesta de Cadaqués conducted by a legend of the classical music: Sir Nevill Marriner.
It was very exciting and a full success.
All the professors who have worked with us,are agreed in that Yaiza has a great natural musical talent.
For Yaiza it was like to have reached the summit, we are sure that is only a first step,the first stage, and that her musical life will be full of exciting and precious moments, as beautiful as the sound that knows to extract of her flute.
Congratulations Yaiza !

El Concierto de Presentación. The Opening Concert

El pasado 16 de diciembre tuvo lugar el Concierto de Presentación del nuevo Cd de Ensemble XXI «Retratos del Mar», un día muy emocionante de mi vida musical como compositor y director de esta orquesta.
The past 16th of December was the new Ensemble XXI Cd Opening Concert «Pictures of the Sea», a very exciting day of my musical life like a composer and director of this orchestra.

El público llenó el Auditorio, nuestra música «navegó» por la sala, en ella estaba todo nuestro trabajo y ilusión.
The public filled the Hall, our music “sailed” by the room, in it was all our work and illusion.

Retratos del Mar. Pictures of the sea.

¡Desde 2004 trabajando y ya está aquí el cuarto Cd que escribo para Ensemble XXI !
El mar siempre me ha fascinado: sus colores siempre cambiando, el reflejo del sol jugando sobre el agua, el ritmo de sus movimientos…nunca me cansaría de mirarlo.
El disco contiene diversos arreglos, mi obra «Retratos del Mar» y la canción «Fuego azul» para la que he escrito también por primera vez la letra.
Es un homenaje al mar y a los momentos que he pasado junto a él con mis seres queridos.
El concierto de presentación será el próximo 16 de diciembre a las 20.30 h en el Auditorio S.Francisco de Monzón (Huesca), entrada libre.

Since 2004 working and already it is here: the fourth CD that I have writed for Ensemble XXI!
The sea always has fascinated to me: its colors always changing, the reflection of the sun playing on the water, the rate of its movements… never would tire to watch it.
The disc contains diverse arrengaments, my work “Pictures of the Sea” and the song “ Fuego azul (Blue fire)” I wrote the music, and also the lyrics, for first time. It is a tribute to the sea and the moments that I have happened next to it with my dear beings.
The presentation concert will be next 16 December at 20,30 h in the S.Francisco Hall of Monzón (Huesca) (Spain), free entrance.
