Viendo la portada de la prestigiosa revista Classical Guitar, hemos tenido la agradable sorpresa de comprobar que nuestra orquesta es uno de los temas destacados del número del mes de junio.
Classical Guitar es una revista inglesa especializada que tiene 26 años de antiguedad y que cuenta con más de 25.000 suscriptores. Se la considera una de las publicaciones de referencia a nivel mundial.
En el artículo se realiza un repaso de toda la trayectoria de la orquesta y de mi trabajo como compositor y fundador de GuitarInEnsemble.com.
Finaliza afirmando que nuestro proyecto «…es una aportación audaz, original e innovadora… presenta una nueva dimensión y abre nuevos horizontes a los amantes de la Guitarra»
Es un honor y me estimula a seguir mejorando día a día.

Seeing the cover of the prestigious magazine Classical Guitar, we have had the pleasant surprise to verify that our orchestra is one of the outstanding subjects of the June issue.
Classical Guitar is a specialized English magazine that has 26 years of antiquity and that it has more than 25,000 subscribers.
It’s considered one of world-wide reference publication about the Guitar.
The article is a review of all the trajectory of our orchestra and my work like composer and founder of GuitarInEnsemble.com.
It finalizes affirming that our project «…gives an original, innovative and audacious approach to reworking ensemble guitar playing. It presents new horizons for guitar lovers who desire the enjoyment and accomplishment of ensemble playing»
It is an honor and stimulates me to continue improving step by step.

La prestigiosa revista italiana dedicada al mundo de la guitarra, GuitArt, abre su número del mes de abril con un artículo hablando del proyecto de Ensemble XXI y GuitarInEnsemble.com.
Después de explicar en qué consiste la orquesta, como está formada, los Cds que hemos grabado, los Cursos que organizamos, mi trabajo como compositor y editor… finaliza el artículo con el siguiente párrafo:
«Es una nueva propuesta atrevida, audaz e innovadora…que los que amamos la guitarra disfrutaremos siguiendo muy de cerca»

The prestigious Italian magazine dedicated to the guitar world, GuitArt, opens its April issue with a Post speaking about Ensemble XXI and GuitarInEnsemble.com projects.
Then it explains how is our orchestra, like it’s formed, the Cds which we have recorded, the Courses that we organized, my work like composer and publisher… finalizes the article with the following paragraph:
«It’s an original, innovative and audacious project…new horizons for the guitar lovers and we’ll keep a very close eye on them in order to follow its musical steps»

Los pasados días 3, 4 y 5 de mayo de 2007, realizamos un Curso con uno de los más innovadores y prestigiosos guitarristas actuales, el estadounidense Andrew York.
Primero realizó un concierto magnífico, compuesto por obras de su propio creación, con gran éxito de público.
Sus obras, llenas de imaginación y sensibilidad, utilizan la guitarra de una forma innovadora y original.
Fuera de programa pudimos escuchar una soberbia interpretación de varias obras de Bach, con la guitarra afinada como un cello, instrumento para el que fueron escritas.
Trabajo en el Curso con solistas, grupos de cámara y con Ensemble XXI varias de mis nuevas obras.
También tuvimos la gran fortuna de tenerlo como Invitado de Honor en el concierto de Ensemble XXI en Fonz (Huesca).
Andrew es una persona carismática y simpática, nos visitó con su esposa Lisa, con quien se casó el pasado 31 de diciembre.
Ahora a dejado el Cuarteto de Los Angeles para poderse dedicar com más intensidad a su carrera como solista y compositor.

Last days 3, 4 and 5th of May 2007, we had a Course with one of the most innovating and prestigious present guitarists, Andrew York.
First he played a magnificent concert, made up of works of his own creation, with great success of public.
His compositions, floods of imagination and sensitivity, use the guitar of an innovating and original way.
Outside program we could listen to a magnificent interpretation of several works of Bach, with the guitar tuned like a cello, instrument for which was written.
He worked in the Course with soloists, chamber music groups and with, Ensemble XXI, several of my new works.
Also we had the great fortune to have him like Honor Guest in the concert of Ensemble XXI in Fonz (Huesca).
Andrew is a charismatic and warmful person, visited us with his wife, Lisa, with whom married the past 31th December.
Now he has left Los Angeles Guitar Quartet to be able to dedicate with more intensity to his career like soloist and composer.

Los pasados días 27, 28 y 29 de abril de 2007 realizamos nuestro 2º Encuentro Ensemble XXI en Coma-ruga (Tarragona)
Last days 27, 28 and 29th of April 2007 we made our 2nd Ensemble XXI Stage in Coma-Ruga (Tarragona) (Spain)

Trabajamos especialmente tres nuevas obras que van a formar parte de nuestro próximo Cd «Secretos de Papel» que vamos a grabar en 2008 con el maestro Juan Pérez de Albéniz, prestigioso cellista miembro de la Amsterdam Sinfonietta.
También realizó una interesante introducción a la Técnica Alexander.
We worked specially three new scores of mine, that will be including in our next 2008 Cd «Secrets of Paper», with the teacher Juan Perez de Albéniz,prestigious cello player of the Amsterdam Sinfonietta.
Also it made an interesting introduction to the Technique Alexander.
Tuvimos la agradable sorpresa de la visita de Ane Matxain, violin.
Actual Concertino de la Orquesta Nacional de España, muy amablemente se integró en nuestra orquesta.
Fue un momento muy especial.
We had the pleasant surprise of the visit of Ane Matxain, violin.
Present Concertino of the National Orchestra of Spain, very amiably She integrated in our orchestra.
It was a very special moment.

No sólo hubo música… No only we had music…

Juan trabajó con profundidad e intensidad, y aportó ideas muy interesantes para mejorar nuestra manera de entender la música. Lo hizo con su habitual simpatía. Es una persona cálida y cercana.
Juan worked with depth and intensity, and contributed very interesting ideas to improve our way to understand music. He did it with his habitual affection.He is a very warm and near person.
